'THE formation of a British Motor 1. Corporation Drivers' Club, membership of which offers free personal accident insurance cover of £150 for death, or loss of one or more limbs or one' or both eyes while on duty, has been announced.
Membership, which is free, is available to licensed drivers, owner-drivers, part-time drivers and mates of Austin, Morris and Morris-Commercial goods and passenger vehicles which are used solely for commercial purposes.
The club has been initiated by Sir Leonard Lord, chairman of the British Motor Corporation. "I hope that the club will promote good fellowship among drivers and their mates and form a bond between us, as manufacturers, and the men who spend a great part of their working lives in the cabs
of our vehicles,' he stated last week. -` We are paying increasing attention to the comfort of the crews in the design of our commercial vehicles," Sir Leonard added.
Members will be issued with a badge for display on their vehicles, and a lapel badge, whilst a pocket wallet containing club rules and legal notes will be provided. Legal advice is to be made available to members from the heads quarters of the club at Cowley.

The component to be tested is sealed by,rubber pads, and air is introduced to the cavity at 100 p.s.i. Loss of pressure is measured over a predetermined period and a red light illuminates if the part is to be rejected.
