II Caterpillar C10 engines have qualified for the Reduced Pollution Certificate, entitling operators to VED rebates of up to £1,000.
The qualifying engines are rated at 340 and 380hp with the serial number prefix 8YS.
Trucks delivered after 1 April need no modification; those delivered earlier can be reworked with a turbocharger and new software, although this has to be done at the customer's expense.
