• The Railfreight Conference '95 is being held at the Marriott Hotel in London on 29 June. The future of rail privatisation and future' trends in freight movement will be discussed among other subjects. Speakers include Keith Hasted, group freight director of Railtrack; John Watts MP, minister of state for the Department of Transport; and Julia Clark, a director of Rail Freight Group.
It is organised by the Waterfront Conference Company and costs £360 (exVAT) or £290 (ex-VAT) for local authority delegates.
