it three weeks later, badly damaged. The vehicle was worth about £25,000. The damage comes to some £8,000. The insurance company is saying that the damage was not covered under our policy. As the theft was covered, surely this cannot be right? RV, Stafford Ait is absolutely essential that when you insure your vehicles you ask the broker all the questions that cover things such as this. Without looking at your policy I would think that for them to say the theft would be covered, but not the damage, there must have been some obscure exclusion clause. Ask your broker for written details and I will look further into it.
