• Delanair, the vehicle airconditioning and heating firm which supplies ERF, Seddon Atkinson, Daf BV and Leyland Bus, has been sold to leading car component company Valeo by Hanson Trust.
The deal is the latest in a series of acquisitions by the Paris-based Valeo, which plans to buy a new company every other month (CM Workshop April 1989).
Delanair owns two plants in Wales and has a workforce of 1,250. Its sales totalled 253 million last year.
