Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NOVEL and inexpensive means of preventing empty tipper bodies from hinnicing and clattering, and thus reducing noise and wear, was on display on the Ilyva stand at '1'ipcon.

The Hyfix body clamp employs an over centre mounted cast iron hook, linked to a rubber block which can be loaded under compression by means of an adjusting screw.

This assembly is Ii minted on the chassis and die hook engages automatically with a high tensile steel locking bar mounted on the body, as the body is lowered.

The weight of the body pushes the hook over centre into the locked position and the compression load in the rubber block holds the body down, preventing clatter and saving wear for example on the rear hinges, rain seals and front mountings_ Hyva has applied for patents for its body clamp.

Only one Hytix per vehicle is needed. It retails at $2120 plus vat.
