PHARMACEUTICAL manufacturer the Wellcome Foundation has won the Centre for Physical Distribution Management's 1985 Award for Excellence.

This award is made on the basis of a written submission describing a project, implemented in the past five years, for the improved use of resources in physical distribution.

A new warehouse near Crewe that became fully operational last October was the subject of the paper submitted by the Wellcome Foundation.
