A YORKSHIRE transpor manager has openly stated hi support for the introduction o the tachograph.

Trevor Cornish, transpor manager of Henry Loni Transport of Bradford, said hi would be happy when thi tachograph is made compul sory in Britain.

Speaking at the Freigh Show North in Harrogate las week, he said: "Although th cost is fairly high, the benefit to be derived from both till company's and the driver' point of view will be great."

He said that the savings ot fuel, tyres and general vehicli wear and tear his compan: would derive from fittinl tachographs would be passel on the the drivers.
