THE largest air compressor so far to appear in the ,Dunlop range has been announced. It is a 21-ca.-ft. stationary unit suitable for a working pressure of 200 p.s.i. The compressor and motor are saddle-plate mounted on a 4-ft. 6-in.-long x 1-ft. 6-in. diameter, 54-gal. 'capacity, horizontal air receiver (8.75 Cu. ft. approximately). The two-stage _twincylinder air-cooled compressor has 3.937in. and 2.326-in. dia. bores and a 2.75-in. stroke. Driven by a 5 h.p. A.C. 3-phase motor, the compressor is supplied with pressure regulator, inter-cooler, gauge, safety valve and outlet drive. Drive is by twin
