IVIANUFACTURED by Lodematic, Ltd., Clitheroe, Lanes, and 11/1 initially designed for the speedy loading of goods on to a lorry, the Lodematic elevator is a portable device which can

be pushed alongside a vehicle to assist loading. Many other applications are possible. It can be set to lift immediately a load is placed on the platform, and to lower when relieved of the load. An automatic counter is incorporated. Manual starting and lowering are possible, and settings up to any height of lift, within the range, may pe quickly made.

Hydraulic power for the lift is provided either by a mainselectric motor, supplied for any voltage, or a B.S.A. 120-c.c. petrol engine. There are three models of Lodematic available. The Mk. II lifts up to 6 ft. and will load a double deck of coal, flour, or corn on a lorry. The Mk. 10 lifts up to 7 ft. and is suitable for boxes and skips. The Mk. IV, lifting up to 10 ft. is suitable for textile bales.

The prices range from £115 for the Mk. II.
