WITHIN three days of the announceVY ment of the new Leyland Comet 90 range of goods vehicles, Leyland Motors, Ltd., received an order by cablegram for 350 of these machines, valued at £500,000, from Turkey. .

All the chassis will be shipped to Turkey completely knocked down and. to save loading space, they will be arranged in packs of four vehicles. The models chosen are the ECO2 IL type with left-hand steering and a wheelbase of 14 ft. 2 ins. They will be equipped with 9.00 x 20 low-pressure tyres.
