DANGEROUS GOODS transport spe cialist Groupe Samat UK has applied to run 15 vehicles and the same number of trailers at a new operating centre in Redcar. The firm is also looking to run two vehicles and two trailers in Immingham. Steve Reid, Groupe Samat UK general manager, tells CM: "Groupe Samat UK has continued to expand its business and has opened a depot in Redcar.
"We have merely replaced some vehicles in Immingham that had been there previously.
"We won new contracts in 2009 as a part of our European growth strategy."
