Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

assive mail sacks mounted up in the Hawk's office in response to our competition to name the Renault 50 Series (CM 23-29 April). After days shut away in a darkened room, CM's impartial judging panel have come up with the winners. Congratulations to Alan Young of Barton Stacey for suggesting "Methuselah" and Stuart Millican of Northampton for "Minotaur". The two choccie chappies from M&Ms are on their way.

According to the Concise Oxford Dictionary, Methuselah lived for 969 years. As Alan wrote: "Bearing in mind the length of time the cab has been in production at Dunstable and

before that for many years in the States, it's got to be Methuselah." The same dictionary tells us that a Minotaur is "A bull-headed man kept in a Cretan labyrinth and fed with human flesh." The judges decided it had nothing at all to do with the old faithful Renault, they just liked the name.

The 50 Series won praise from J Isles of Poulton-Le-Fylde. He suggested "Mentor" because it's, "Old and experienced and can still teach the newer models a thing or two." There were surprisingly few rude entries, but Chris Wait of Leyland Daf dealer Carrow Commercials in Norwich suggested "Mundane". Well he would wouldn't he?
