Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Among trailer manufacturers catering for the UK-continental high-volume trade are the Montracon Tasker combine and York Trailers, now part of the Aveling Barford group.

Tasker's 13.5m curtainsider, one of nine ordered by Featherstone haulier Brian Yeardley's international operation, features a sturdier bolted front bulkhead and rear door frame with a shallow roof supported by two roller posts at each side.

The trailers will couple to specially built Volvo tractor units with 1,020mm-high fifth wheels. The high-cube trailers offer 2.87x13.3m side openings and 100m within their 4,050mm ceiling. Following confirmation that York Trailers will remain at its Northallerton ancestral home, the company has developed a new semi-trailer for high volume work.

Rated at 46 tonnes, the Ultra-Lo chassis uses 245/70R 19.5 twin tyres and dual ride height suspension for coupling at 965 or 1,215mm.

It has a 76mm deep neck with integral 8.0mm pick-up plate and is available in platform, fixed or raising-roof tilt and curtainsided forms.

The first two Ultra-Los have gone to East Anglian operator Hugh Wilson which will be using them to shift plant items that are normally carried on low loaders.
