Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Seddon Atkinson has launched two refuse collection vehicle chassis which will be displayed at the International Waste Management Show in Torbay next week.

The new 6x2 M25 P21 is Seddon Atkinson's first twinsteer 6x2 refuse chassis, with standard track and an outer axle spread of 5,230mm. Plated weight is 24,370kg. The M25 P21 retains the same Perkins Phaser/Eaton 6109 manual or Allison MT653 automatic driveline. The Eaton 18320 drive axle is replaced with a Rockwell R160E.

Also new for the M25 P21 is full air suspension which supersedes the single-leaf parabolic and air bellows layout. Front and intermediate axle plated weights are uprated from 6,500kg to 7,100kg and 6,100kg to 7,100kg respectively. Larger brakes with automatic adjustment and asbestosfree linings are fitted.

The 8x4 chassis, designated M32 28L, can be plated at 32 tonnes from next January. Seddon Atkinson's normal municipal Motor Panels crew-cab is offered in either three or six-man form. Power comes from a 205kW (275hp) Cummins L10 engine driving Rockwell SRHD rear axles with cross and interaxle diff locks, through an Allison HT 750 automatic gearbox. A crankshaft driven PT-0 can be fitted. Suspension is Hendrickson Norde rubber.

4x2 models are unchanged except for front axles on narrow track models which are uprated from 6,610kg to 7,100kg. The narrow track 6x2 becomes the N23 P21 instead of N22 P21.
