1 PROPERTY company has been Istablished by the Scottish 'ransport Group, mirroring a imilar pre-privatisation move oy the National Bus Company. STG Properties has been ormed to manage the de'elopment of all property used py the STG bus, shipping and niscellaneous subsidiaries. It is haired by Scottish Bus Group hairman Ian Irwin.
An STG spokesman declined o comment about whether this s a move to prepare for postieneral election privatisation of he company (a move which has ,et to be mooted by the Conserratives), but it follows NBC's istablishment of a separate property group to take advanage of the 1982 Transport Act's privatisation powers.
