Deal for Supabus

SURREY coach operator Epsom Coaches has joined forces with French operator Cars Phoceens and launched a London-French Riviera coach service.

Riviera Express will operate between Victoria Coach Station in London, East Croydon, Dover, Calais, Orange, Aix-enProvence, St Maxime, Cannes and Nice.

The service is being marketed in Britain by National Express's new Supabus subsidiary and is licensed by both the British and French Departments of Transport.

The service, which starts on July 1, will connect with National Express and Scottish Bus Group services in Britain and Cars Phoceens services throughout the South of France.

High season fares will be £60 single and £108 return or £55 and £98 during the rest of the year making the service the cheapest licensed link between London and the South of France. Epsom Coaches is to use airconditioned Volvo B1OM Plaxton Paramount 3500-bodied coaches on the service.
