Suitable for car-based vans, the Auto-aj usta from Crypton Triangle, can be used for checking, points cleanliness and for resetting the ignition timing within the manufacturer's limits.
It is also claimed that the device can test centrifugal and vacuum advance mechanisms as well as be used for the adjustment of carburetters. And for cars with automatic transmissions the dual-scale tachometer is said to be particularly valuable. Claimed to be smaller than a mechanic's tool kit and a fraction of its weight the Auto-ajusta operates from a 12V vehicle battery and has common test cables to both meters with only three test connections.
