Bank Holidays: The. Government has announced that the Spring and late Summer Bank Holidays will he May 29 and August 28 in 1967, and June 3 (Whit Monday) and September 2 in 1968. As has already been announced, August Bank Holiday this year will he on August 30 and in 1966 on August 29.
Lettered Bus Stops for Epsom: Sixteen bus and Green Line coach stops in Epsom town centre will be marked with different letters from June 16 to help passengers find them more easily. The lettered stops will he linked with special maps and " how-to-getthere " guides displayed at or near each stop and at other key points in the area. Each stop will have a red disc, with white letter, fixed on top of the post. The maps show the position of the 16 stops—and incorporate a guide listing 80 destinations. the bus or coach routes serving them, and the hoarding points. A dozen hospitals are listed, as well as towns, villages, zoos and beauty spots.
