THE possibility of co-operation between operators who have vehicle steam cleaning or washing facilities and those who have not is being investigated by the Western area vehicle maintenance advisory committee; the committee feels strongly that a clean vehicle is a " must " for fault checking. This was revealed at the bi-monthly meeting last week, when it was also reported that publication of a simple maintenance record system had been approved.
