Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

S a result of tests carried out 11.with the remarkable six-wheeled passenger chassis produced by the Sunbeam Motor Car Co., Ltd., and as an aid to improving the appearance, several alterations will be embodied in th3 model which is now in production.

The already excellent running of the engine has been still further improved by the provision of a slipping-clutchtype vibration damper, which is mounted at the front end of the crankshaft. The layout of the brake-operating gear has been cleaned up, and the rear brakes are no longer compensated.

B42 Simms-Jurid reinforced-link universal couplings are utilized between the clutch and the gearbox, and these have proved so satisfactory that the ring-type coupling behind the gearbox on the forward end of the two-piece propeller shaft is being replaced by one of the SimmsJurid pattern ; the Kirkstall joint is, however, being retained at the end of the shaft.

An M.L. ignition coil is being utilized instead of one of another make, but the Simms magneto will be retained, the dual system being optional.

An important alteration has been made in the controls. The hand-brake lever was fulcrumed close to the front bulkhead of the body; it is now pivoted close to the change-speed gate, which makes its application considerably easier, as the effort now• mouired is more in the nature of a pull than of a lift.

The appearance' of the new radiator is very striking, it has a polished white-metal easing and a separate core, and is a Marston product.

It is of interest to note that the name of the Sunbeam six-wheeler will be the S.M.C.
