general haulier JJB Transport has entered liquidation after 13 years of trading.
At a general meeting on 27 June the decision was taken for the company, which had a licence authorising 16 LGVs and 26 trailers, to be wound up voluntarily. Insolvency practitioner CBA was appointed as liquidator.
A statement of the company's affairs shows assets available to preferential creditors, which are estimated to be worth about £12,000. However, money owed to HMRC, finance companies and trade creditors could total almost £500,000.
Neither directors Keith Robertshaw nor Debbie Robertshaw (his sister) could be contacted.
