Key Vivaro goes to AA ONE OF VAUXHALL'S biggest customers

has received the keys to the 900,000th Vivaro van to be built at the company's Luton plant. The AA will take 356 new Vivaros this year, approximately 75% of the planned renewal of its 3,000-strong van fleet.
"We are honoured that this landmark Vivaro is going in to service with the AA," said Edmund King, AA president (pictured, left, with Vauxhall chairman and MD Duncan Aldred).
"One of the main things for our patrols is getting a vehicle that is practical, safe, and economical."
Production of the Vivaro began in 2001, and will continue when the next generation van enters production next year, securing 1,400 jobs.
