RHODES FREIGHT Services has been granted permission to remove from its 0-licence its Air Port Works site in Green Lane, Hounslow. It can base 16 vehicles and 12 trailers at a new operating centre on the West London Industrial Park in Iver Lane, Uxbridge, subject to the following conditions: • any reversing alarms on the operator's forklift trucks will be of the warbler type; • if a vehicle enters the main site gate as another vehicle is leaving, the entering vehicle will proceed straight down the main site driveway, turn around and then enter the operating centre by turning left; • refrigerated vehicles and trailers will normally be powered by electricity. Except in cases of emergency, which should be recorded by the operator, they will never be powered by a diesel generator between 9pm and 7am or on Sunday or public holidays; Liberty Express LIBERTY EXPRESS can remove its site at Bushness Vehicle Repairs on the Thorpe Industrial Estate in Egham from its 0-licence. It can also base four vehicles at Foxholes Farm in Lyne, Chertsey, subject to the following conditions and undertakings: • there will be no movement of the authorised vehicles at the operating centre before 7am or after 6pm Monday to Friday, or before 7am or after 1pm on Saturday; • there will be no movement of the authorised vehicles at the operating centre on Sunday and public holidays; • authorised vehicles shall not exceed 7.5 tonnes.
Asp ray Transport ASPRAY TRANSPORT wants to remove from its 0-licence its unit at Tilers Road, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes. It wants to base 25 vehicles and eight trailers at a new operating centre in Patriot Drive on the Rooksley Industrial Estate in Rooksley, Milton Keynes. • the site's main gate will be manned at all times when the operator's vehicles are expected to arrive at the operating centre, and the gate opened so that an incoming vehicle can proceed directly into the site without having to stop on Iver Lane.
