ith cynicism so widespread it is good to see that some folk take the important things in life seriously — for example collecting model trucks, as this letter to Model Collector magazine shows. "I have been a collector of the EFE range of models since their introduction.., and have been a driver of brick lorries. I could not wait to get one in my collection, but I was very disappointed with the colour of the London Brick Company model as it was the wrong shade of red. Had the colour been correct I would have bought more than one model — I would have had a fleet of them."
Do major fleet buyers pay as much attention to detail when restocking their fleets? Or do they just turn a whiter shade of pale at the cost?
