Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• TIP Trailer Rental has introduced a used trailer sales programme with a "Try-BeforeYou-Buy" option and a two-tier warranty.

The pre-purchase trial allows a customer to rent a trailer for four weeks.

The rental cost will be deducted from the sale price should the operator decide to go ahead and buy the trailer.

Used TIP trailers carry a "basic" warranty that covers all under-chassis items such as axles, brakes, landing legs and suspension for three months or 10,000km.

The "Premium" warranty also covers fridge units, tail lifts and bodywork.

The warranty costs are built into the sales price. Repairs can be carried out at any of TIP's 25 UK branches, including the newest one opened recently in Bradford. There are 55 branches throughout Europe As part of its warranty deal TIP will provide a free replacement trailer should a repair take more than 24 hours.

Trailer sales manager Brian Parkinson says the programme is designed to provide TIP with a regular 10% annual update of its 10,000-strong UK fleet.

Parkinson believes that the warranty and sampling options give customers added value when buying used trailers.
