Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• "I am the only woman transporter driver in the country," said Mrs. Pamela Porter, 40, on Saturday. She had just collected a new £2,000 Commer tractive unit from Two Gates Garage Ltd., at Ryston-on-Dunsmore, near Coventry, ready for work on Monday.

Mr. Bill Greaves, general manager at the garage, said: "A few years ago Pam said she would have a transporter of her own one day —but I never thought it would happen."

Mrs. Porter said: "I have been in the car delivery trade since 1950 and have been driving for myself for the last five years. I have always wanted to be able to buy myself a brand new lorry and now I have done it."

She has formed herself into a limited company—Coastal Car Deliveries Ltd., based at her home at London Road, Stretton-onDunsmore. Her husband Brian, a signal controller with British Railways at Rugby, is codirector.

Mrs Porter is handed the log book of her new lorry by Mr Guy Rawlinson (left), sales manager of Two Gates Garage Ltd. Mr Bill Greaves looks on.
