Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

He pointed out that the company was founded in 1889 by the late Mr. F. R. Simms, and amongst the many outstanding achievements of this mart were the high-tension magneto, the first four-cylindered petrol engine with mechanically operated overhead valves, the joystick (now the standard method of control on all aircraft). and the foundation of two well-known bodies —the Royal Automobile Club and the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

Despite the great success achieved with the production of aero magnetos, the demand had dropped to a point where production had become uneconomic, and the company reluctantly decided to turn over this productive capacity to the manufacture of fuelinjection equipment, for which there was an ever-increasing sale.

Simms fuel-injection equipment is 100 per cent. British, and the company has had to develop its own technique . since it started manufacture in 1930. Governor reliability and the quality of the other components arose from the fact that the company had got right down to the fundamentals of the problem.
