Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Motor Vehicles (Construction ahd Use) Regulations, 1941, having been revoked and superseded by those of 1947, the Minister has now made the Motor Vehicles (Authorization of Special Types) (Amendment) Order, 1947. The effect of this is to continue the authorization of certain motor vehicles and trailers although they do not in all or certain respects comply with the requirements of the latest Regulations.

Permission in these cases was given by Orders made since the 1941 Regulations and which would have become non-effective without the issue of this new Order. East Africa, Rhodesia (Northern), Rhodesia (Southern), Union of South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanganyika, Turkey, Uganda.

Negotiations for appointments in other territories are well in hand.
