Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE STAGNATION of the major rental fleet purchasing programmes seems to be ending. Following Dawsonrentals' order for 100 MAN TGAs (CM 14 December), Hill Hire is taking 480 MANs with an option for 420 more.

They range from 7.5-tonne TGLs to TGA 6x2 fleet tractors; all feature EGR Euro-4 emissions control and TipMatic automated transmissions.

Hill Hire fleet director David Barlow says: "We believe ownaccount fleets and smaller operators... will prefer the simpler operating benefits of EGR." But he adds: "We will take SCR trucks as we feel necessary for certain customers."
