• The annual Amsterdam RAI Commercial Motor Show, the largest of its type in Europe will run daily from 10:00hrs to 17:00hrs on 8-17 February 1996. Attractions will include an exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the truck and the presentation of the 20th International Truck of the Year Award.

• The Institute of Logistics Exhibition is to be held at the Metropole Hotel at the NEC, Birmingham from 18-20 June 1996. The two-day Institute of Logistics Annual Conference will run alongside the exhibition.

Sri Lanka event
• The Sri Lankan Chartered Institute of Transport will be holding an international exhibition and conference in Colombo on 1-3 March 1996. The exhibition will be held at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre, with the Transport '96 Conference held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall.
