Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Vehicle Systems Engineering has launched a chassis conversion for the lveco Ford 19036 4x2 Turbostar, which extends the wheelbase to 3.8m.

VSE's Len Gravatt says the conversion enables operators to use the Turbostars at the 16.5m proposed articulated lenths for light duty work.

The conversion involves cutting the chassis, extending it by 0.315m, reinforcing the chassis and extending the drive. Gravatt says the work is carried out by Lloyds coded welders, and costs 0,030 ex-VAT.

LI For heavier applications VSE offers conversions to lyeco Ford 190.48 Turbostars. The Hackney Wick-based corn

pany will fit a tag or selftracking pusher axle to the top of-the-range tractors for around £4,500 ex-VAT.
