EW LORRIES will have to • fitted with extra nearside irrors, giving a downward well as improved rearward ew, from October 1, 1988. Transport Minister Lynda balker says draft regulations e now being circulated folwing a recent change to an EC directive.
The problem to blind spots 1 the nearside of lorries is ell known and has led to 'cidents resulting in serious id fatal injuries to other road ers.
