A TRANSPORT of wastes symposium is being held in London by the Institute of Wastes Management, on January 22.

The seminar will break new ground in looking at the overall management of hulk waste transport systems, says the Greater London Council which is supporting it.

With the reorganisation or local government this spring, many new waste disposal organisations will be re-assessing the long-term transport needs of their areas.

Those interested in attending should ring Paul Stanyer at the GEC's Public Health Engineering 1)epartment on 01-633 4391 or Jim Tomlinson on 0268 775599.
