When it comes to giving their opinions it has to be said that taxi drivers are not backwards in coming forwards. Indeed they are renowned for preaching from the driving seat to the captive congregation sitting in the back. It seems only fitting, then, that some cabbies have taken the opportunity to reach a wider audience. The church of St John the Baptist in Halesowen, West Midlands, had to change its PA system when it began picking up taxi messages in the middle of sermons.
