DEVON GENERAL is to go ahead with just half of a proposed minibus scheme in Exeter.
The National Bus company originally wanted to run highfrequency minibus routes to the Pinhoe and Heavitree areas of the city but the local council objected to the proposal on the grounds that high-frequency buses could cause congestion in the buses-only High Street shopping centre.
The Pinhoe service is expected to start at the end of this month.
