annual hgv inspections. The Transfleet depot in Bannerley Road, Garretts Green Industrial Estate, Birmingham has begun to offer the service on a trial basis.
A fixed cost is quoted in advance for any work required to prepare a vehicle for the test and Transfleet then guarantees to obtain a pass certificate without any further charge.
This is believed to be the first time any such guarantee has been offered for commercial vehicles.
Transfleet Services is jointly owned by Lex Services and Lombard North Central.
