PAUL DEAN has joined the Bus and Coach Council as economics executive.
His main area of responsibility will include the preparation of economic reports on the industry, analysing its performance, liaising with other transport economists, and acting as a source of data on the industry.
Mr Dean was previously with the British Airports Authority as a transport planner, responsible for road and rail links to the Authority's airports.
Before this he was operational researcher with the Civil Aviation Authority at its Kingsway, London offices.
Phillip Manvell, who moved to BCC at the same time as Mr Dean, has left. He was assistant secretary and came to BCC after serving four years as director of Croydon Chamber of Commerce.
