A comprehensive transport consultancy service is now available to Freight Transport Association members.
The new service will cover the areas of freight distribution and traffic operation, extending the range of existing consultancy activities, The extension follows the establishment of joint working arrangements with three professional transport consultancy firms, and with one of FTA's larger member companies possessing consultancy facilities of its own.
Under the new arragements, FTA's service now includes layout and location of depots and warehouses, analysis of fleet structure, and analysis and planning of freight movement and traffic flows.
