• Five papers on various aspects of electric vehicle design and operation will be presented at the Colloquium and Vehicle Display, Palais Des Congress, Brussels on March 13 /14. The Congress is organized by the Union Internationale des Producteurs et Distributcurs d'Energie Electrique (UN1PEDE) of Paris and presentation of the papers is sponsored by The Electric Vehicle Association of Great Britain, Trafalgar Buildings, 1 Charing Cross, London SW1, together with demonstrations of electric vehicles built in the UK.

UK vehicles displayed at the exhibition will probably include the City Bus. Al City Van and Street Tidy, produced by Crompton Leyland Electric ars Ltd, a Commuter Car, manufactured by Enfield Automotive and three vehicles produced by Harbilt Electric Trucks and Vehicles. These include a Post Office vehicle, a personnel carrier and a refuse-collecting vehicle. And Smith's Electric Vehicles Ltd will exhibit a general-purpose van.
