Wakefield Corporation has included £390 in estimates for the purchase of an ambulance. Manchester Water Committee has accepted the tender of Lookers, Ltd.. for the supply of an Austin van.
Plymouth Electricity Committee has accepted the tender, at 2185, of A. C. Turner, Ltd., for the supply of a van.
Stockport Transport Committee is in the market for a 12.-cwt. van, the closing date for tenders being February 21. Cardiff Works Committee has accepted the tender of James 'Howells and Co., Ltd.. for the supply of two Karrier efuse collectors. Brighouse Health and Cleansing Department requires two 10-12-cubic-yd. rear-loading refuse collectors with moving floors; the closing date is February 17.
