S.T.R., The Commercial Motor costs expert, is to address meetings in the northern area of A.R.O. on five consecutive nights, commencing with Sunday. February 27, at the Three Nuns Hotel, Durham, at 6.45 p.m. On the Monday, he will be at either Haltwhistle or Workington, and on the Tuesday, at the County Hotel, Newcastle-on-Tyne, at 7.30 p.m. He will give a talk at the Black Lion Hotel, Stockton-on-Tees, on the Wednesday, at 7.30 p.m. and on the Thursday, at a place, not yet decided upon, in the West Cumberland area.
c60 A.R.O. Changes in Yorkshire.
Heavy duties in connection with A.R.O. area meetings in Yorkqhire and goods and passenger applications in the licensing courts have compelled Mr. F. G. Bibbings to relinquish office routine work.
Management of the Yorkshire Area office has been placed temporarily under the general supervision of Mr. Frank Milton, general secretary of the Northern Area. Assisting him is Mr. ..j. C. Baker, at one time at A.R.O. headquarters in London. The number of new members secured in Yorkshire during 1937 was 447.
