WINCANTON HAS spent £4.2m on 27 new vehicles for its 200strong construction leet.
The vehicles will be used to carry loads of building materials from bricks, to tiles and aggregates, for a range of Wincanton customers.
Sixteen of the new trucks are replacements, with the remaining 11 bought to meet demand.
Wincanton MD Chris Kingshott says: “We are committed to delivering improved eficiencies and service to our customers and these new vehicles are perfectly suited for handling complex loads at demanding delivery points, including homes and construction sites.”
