• D Morgan has ordered 32 MAN 32 322 8x4 tipper chassis to be supplied by MAN Truck Centre CVS of Manchester. Morgan specialises in earth moving, contracting and plant hire.
• Marley Building Materials has ordered 18 Vo vos, its first new trucks in four years. Ten FH tractive units and eight FL10 rigids worth over £1.25 million will deliver tiles, blocks and paving stones from Marley depots around the country.
• Purfleet-based haulier Myers Group now has 15 Renault tractive units in addition to four Magnum 420 tractors bought earlier this year. The order consists of six more Magnums and nine Majors. The Magnums will be used on international haulage to Belgium and Germany while the Majors will operate in the UK.
