has opened a new depot at Abingdon in Oxfordshire. The 1,150m2 depot is expected to handle more than 600 consignments a day, using a fleet of 12 vans.
The company, part of Hays, specialises in carrying parcels for companies in the computer and electronics industries.
Data Express had a turnover of 27.5 million last year, and predicts this will rise to 210 million this year.
The company, which operates a fleet of 150 vehicles, mostly Volvo trucks and Volkswagon LT vans, moves 12,000 consignments a week through its hub at Rugby.
