• Dery has got cheaper over the past 12 months and bulk buyers continue to get a better deal than retail customers, according to the Freight Transport Association.
The ETA's latest Manager's fuel price information service shows that increases in the price of diesel in the first half of last month were quickly discounted. Dery prices rose again, however, at the end of the month.
In the three months from May to July, truck diesel prices in London were 4.65p cheaper for bulk than for retail buyers. The survey, designed to help FTA members to gain an advantage when negotiating fuel prices, is sent to subscribers each month.
