• Early in October Drake and Coles Containers Ltd, will open a 2facre site adjacent to Southampton docks as a storage site for containers and trailers. There will be room to stack a minimum of 1200 20ft units.
Services offered to operators will include steam cleaning, fumigation, full documentation and inspection reports and complete on-site repairs, which will be carried out by Drake and Coles mobile units. Additionally, there will be a 12-ton, 45ft jib crane available, plus the backing of a second crane in case of breakdown. The new site will be within a mile of the company's established main repair workshops at Chapel, Southampton.
