ABATTERY price war has flared with the announcements of lower prices. Three new brand ranges—including an economy range for each brand—have been announced by the Dagenite and Exide divisions of Electric Power Storage Ltd. Prices of the. most popular batteries are reduced by 10 per cent and guarantees for the premium ranges are extended to three years. The prices of some batteries in small demand have been increased.
