AT THE invitation of C. F. Rymer, Ltd., the Liverpool and District, Cheshire and North Wales Motor Chark-banes Owners' Association: held their annual meeting at the "Woodlands," Llangollen—a motor coach centre well known to road travellers. At the dinner a short toast-list was gone through, in the course of which Mr. D. C. Williams said that from what he had seen of assoeiatione there was no doubt about-it that, united they stood, divided they fell. As coach owners, they wanted to give
every facility to the public, and, at the same time, not take advantage of one another. Mr. C. F. Rymer was heartily thanked for having invited the association to Llangollen.
Mr. W. R. Furphy (Collingwood Transport Co., Liverpool) was elected president in succession to Mr. F. H. Macdonald; Mr. George Taylor. Cheater viee.president; Mr. T: tr. A. Killip (Liverpool). general secretary.
There was a discussion nate what constituted an agent. One definition was )119 that he was an accredited tradesman whose livelihood depended, in whole or in part, upon booking passengers for firms by whom he had been. appointed. The following rates for booked parties were agreed upon for a period of two months :
