• Glass Glover Distribution has bought a dozen Scania P113340 tractive units and 14 GRP Massey triaxle multi-compartment reefer trailers. They will work under contract to Makro Self Service wholesalers from its new centralised warehouse at Trafford Park, Manchester.
The 13.5m trailers' Transfrig undermount fridge units operate three remote evaporators.
Loadmaker flexible bulkheads allow up to three temperature bands to be maintained within the body; they are pre-set by the operator via an external control panel. lEA Frig-check equipment provides temperature monitoring and recording throughout a journey.
